Our Founding Patron:
Dr. Cephas G. Msipa
Cephas G. Msipa was born in Siboza Village near Zvishavane on 7th July 1931. Educated at Dadaya Mission School, Dr. Msipa began his teaching career in Zvishavane in 1950.
He served in Zimbabwe's first democratically elected government from 1980 to 2008, holding various ministerial portfolios.
"Outside of politics, Dr. Msipa was involved with many charitable organisations including The Red Cross and HelpAge Zimbabwe, of which he was a founding trustee."
Dr. Msipa's career began in education, and he firmly believed that education is the cornerstone of development. The C G Msipa Scholarship Trust is his legacy to assist Zimbabwe's continued development.
"I want this Trust to assist students long after I'm gone. It is my testamentary wish that beneficiaries will one day help others as they have been assisted."
